Super best pizza on town

I bought pizza and ate it on the street.

Ambience: You come to the restaurant and immediately feel at home. The decor is great. Not too pushy. Lots of wood and subdued light. There are copper kettles hanging from the ceiling and the walls are, return, painted. The tables are very nicely set. In summer you can sit in an inner courtyard and for the cold season they have radiant heaters and blankets on the chairs outside. Really a beautiful place. Therefor five bon five stars ? ? ? ? ?. Waitress: We were brought to the table by an elderly gentleman and were left to sit for the time being. After a while he brought the card. Call me pedantic. Every waitress asks if they want a drink, there was nothing here. We only ordered drinks when we ordered. It turned out to be the boss. I have to say we have never been treated so rude. We had ordered a starter plate. Then a younger male waitress brought it. He didn't notice my empty shandy glass and we wondered why there was no bread with the antipasti. We had almost finished eating when an older female waitress came over to bring us some bread with olive oil. We were then served by a younger female waitress who was so very friendly. I give different stars here. One of five stars for the boss ?, just for being present. For the younger male service 3 out of 5 stars ? ? ? And for the 2 women 4 out of 5 stars ? ? ? ?. All in all, the waitress ruined my evening. Food: We had a starter plate with lots of delicacies. Among others Vitello Tonato, Carpagio, Pickled Vegetables, Mozzarella Tomatoes, Italian Salami and more. A great thing for 14 euros. Everything tasted wonderful. My main course was a Tuscany pizza. Not all pizza is the same, but not all toppings are the same here. I haven't eaten such a great pizza in a long time. I partly ate the pepperoni sausage straight and down. That was awesome. The other day I had a pizza with onions, and the bars on it were so thick that everything only tasted like onions. Here they are kept nice and thin, as are the mushrooms. The base was so crispy and the pizza was so spicy, great. What mostly bothers me about pizzas is that the cheese covers everything and you can't taste anything from the toppings. Here the cheese was among the ingredients, great. My wife had ribbon noodles with porcini mushrooms and rocket. The dish was good too, but there was so much garlic on it that you couldn't taste anything else. There was hardly anything to be seen of porcini mushrooms. And there was far too much oil on the plate. At the end we shared a tiramisu. I thought it was very good, my wife would have liked a little more alcohol 4 out of 5 stars ? ? ? ? My conclusion, the food is great, the ambience really great, but the service screwed it up for me. There are so many great catering establishments that such an old-established person would have to make more effort. So we stay there once, have enjoyed the food and prefer to go back to our Thai.

Very nice staff, the pizza I had was very tasty, my companion thought it was twice as tasty, ate 2 pizzas at the same time, but was also very hungry as always

Very nice Ristorante on the edge of the old town. Very courteous and friendly staff. Daily specials very good. Nice ambience in the restaurant. Food very nicely prepared & very good in taste. Draft beers & many different drinks on offer. Also suitable for the lunch break. Overall conclusion: clear 5 stars. We'll be back?

Here you can sit outside in the summer months and enjoy your meal in a nice atmosphere. We liked the pizza very much. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, the visit today did not meet our expectations and our positive experiences so far. Waiting time for 2 pizzas in total over an hour; our drinks and food requests were only accepted by the service after half an hour; in general, the staff seemed very unfriendly and stressed; At our table in the courtyard, the smell from the toilet (toilet cleaner) was also strongly noticeable. Quality and quantity of the food was below average ... all in all, unfortunately, a poor performance this evening

Nice and friendly service, the food came quickly and it was delicious. BUT! The portion (pasta with porcini mushrooms and beef) was the absolute joke, especially at the price. Had about 3 pieces of meat and 2 porcini mushrooms ... It was delicious

Pizza hui, service ugh! A fairly long waiting time can be expected in all areas. You are waiting to finally place your order. Finally, you wait to be allowed to pay. And in between, you just wait for the service, which is sought in vain. There is nothing wrong with the food, but the general waiting time is simply too long for the big, if necessary, fast hunger with a manageable menu (drinks menu is not laid out by the way!).

Homemade pasta, fresh ingredients, salad dressing with a kick and a beautiful location with a nice courtyard. It was also a portion to fill you up. Only the hospitality could be written a little bigger.

Nice atmosphere, far too small portions with moderate quality. Relatively high prices and not overly friendly staff. Completely overrated in my opinion.

We know, loved this place since the 70th. Disappointing quality of Pizza Caprisiosa on Sep. 1st, Chorizzo, Salami, Ham very cheap quality. Service was slow, had to ask 2x to get the wine to the Food.

Great Italian food

Good food, very nice atmosphere. Always something new to try.

A good real Italian in the old town of Wetzlar. Cozy rustic atmosphere. The pizza was great, the salad was good but unspectacular. "Unfortunately" the restaurant is very popular, which is why it can be difficult to get a seat, especially if there is a larger event in Wetzlar. 1 star deduction because the service was a bit sluggish, but is not a reproach, that evening there was an event in the town hall, all the bars were busy and the shop was filled within a very short time.

The Italian neighbourhood place. Good value. Recomand

We stopped here on our Globus tour .. for wine prosecco tasting and tapas. It was a lovely place and a fun experience. Several people in our group didn't drink so I had their share which left me really feeling the wine .. had fun.

This restaurant offers good quality in Italian food and service. It is centrally located and well-known between locals.
